Fanworkgram ("the App") is a third-party reading application for Archive of Our Own (AO3). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data.

Anonymous Analytics: Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data (screen views, feature usage) to help improve the App. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Anonymous Authentication: Firebase Auth creates an anonymous session for analytics purposes. No personal information is associated with this session.
Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Premium, RevenueCat processes your purchase through the App Store. We do not access your payment details.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Your name, email, or contact information
Your AO3 account credentials (no login required)
Your location data
Device identifiers for advertising
Reading history on our servers (stored only on your device)

3. Local Storage

The following data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers:

Reading history, bookmarks, and mark-for-later lists
Cached works and chapter content
Reading preferences (font, size, theme)
Favorite fandoms and content preferences
Reading position per work

4. How the App Works

Fanworkgram communicates directly with AO3 (archiveofourown.org) to retrieve publicly available content. No intermediate servers are used to proxy your requests.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics tokens are managed by Firebase and contain no personal information. Local data persists until you uninstall the App or clear it from Settings.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. Clear all local data by uninstalling the App or using the "Clear Cache" and "Clear Reading History" options in Settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
